JADON COHEE
founder and head coach
Jadon grew up in Langley and led his high school team, Walnut Grove Secondary, to two provincial final appearances and its first Provincial title in 2013 - on route to him being named Provincial MVP.
After receiving a full-ride scholarship to play at Seattle University, Jadon became the first male basketball player from Langley to play Division 1. He transferred after two seasons to Southern Utah and continued to excel on the court, averaging 13 points and 3 assists per game.
As a grad transfer receiving interest from over 45 Division 1 schools, a two time All-Canadian, Canada West Champion, and with a career average of 20 points and 6 assists per game - Jadon returned to Canada to finish his college career with the UBC Thunderbirds.
Jadon went on to play professionally for Armia-Mgzavrebi in Georgia, Europe, for the Ottawa Blackjacks in the CEBL, and also for Rapid Bucharest in Romania.
Not only was Jadon a professional basketball player, but he also represented Canada in both the Junior and Senior National teams in the Americup window. His accomplishments have earned him recognition as one of the top 25 high school basketball players of all time in British Columbia, making him the only player in his decade to receive this distinction.
CORE VALUES
buildCONFIDENCE
Building confidence is a key factor in athletic performance. It helps athletes believe in their abilities, stay focused under pressure, and overcome challenges. Our goal at CBA is to boost an athlete's resilience, motivation, and mental toughness, to help them succeed in basketball and in life. With our training and coaching, athletes can develop the mental skills necessary to reach their full potential on and off the court.
increaseINTELLIGENCE
Basketball IQ is a crucial factor that affects players' decision-making on the court. It involves the ability to read and anticipate opponents' moves and execute strategies effectively. The more players know about the game, the faster they can take control of the game, which can significantly improve their overall performance, boost confidence, and increase their chances of success.
developDISCIPLINE
Developing discipline related to basketball is essential for players to build good habits, stay focused on their goals, and put in the effort required to improve their skills and athletic performance. It can teach players important life skills such as time management, perseverance, and self-control, which will also benefit them both on and off the court.
"We live in a world where mediocrity is often rewarded. But when you live a life of extreme ownership, you're always pushing yourself to be better. That's where greatness lies."
— David Goggins
